Brass pressure reducing valves (PRV) are designed to automatically lower and stabilize fluctuating incoming water pressure to a safe, constant outlet pressure. They are widely applied in domestic plumbing systems, heating equipment, commercial water supply pipelines, industrial fluid circuits, irrigation systems and boiler accessories. Constant stable pressure protects pipes, water meters, faucets and other terminal equipment from damage caused by excessive water pressure.

Yes. All our brass pressure reducing valves support manual pressure adjustment. You can turn the top adjusting screw or knob to increase or decrease the outlet pressure. Standard brass pressure reducing valves are mainly suitable for clean cold and hot water. If you need to handle other media such as low-viscosity neutral liquids, please contact our sales team to confirm material compatibility. They are not recommended for use with corrosive liquids, steam, oil or fluids containing large amounts of hard impurities without pre-filter installation.
We supply two types for selection: integrated pressure gauge models and basic models without gauges. The version fitted with pressure gauge enables real-time pressure monitoring, which is popular for commercial projects and heating systems. We can also provide matched spare pressure gauges as separate accessories according to customer order demands.
We stock BSP and NPT female / male thread connections in common sizes including 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″. Custom thread specifications and special sizes can be developed upon request for bulk orders. Please confirm thread standard when sending inquiries to avoid installation mismatch.
Under normal working conditions with clean water medium and proper installation, the service life can reach 5–8 years. Service lifespan will be extended if a filter is installed upstream to intercept sediment and particles. Regular maintenance and cleaning of internal strainer can effectively prevent blockage and prolong service cycle. Wearing parts can be supplied separately for after-sales replacement.

First, install the valve following the flow direction arrow marked on the valve body. We recommend installing a Y-strainer upstream to avoid internal blockage caused by dirt. Leave enough space for later pressure adjustment and maintenance. Avoid installing the PRV in fully exposed outdoor locations without anti-freezing protection in cold areas. Horizontal installation is preferred; vertical installation needs to be confirmed according to specific valve model.
