Relief Valves

As a leading pressure relief valve manufacturer, Fanovo provides mission-critical safety components direct from our factory. We are the trusted supplier for industrial clients and OEM partners who require absolute reliability in preventing catastrophic system failure from over-pressurization. Our relief valves are engineered to be the final, unwavering line of defense, safeguarding your personnel, protecting valuable equipment, and ensuring operational compliance.

Designed to automatically open at a pre-determined set pressure, our valves vent excess pressure and then reliably reseat once normal conditions are restored. This critical function is essential for maintaining safety and stability in hydraulic, pneumatic, and process systems.

Why Partner with Fanovo as Your Relief Valve Supplier?
Uncompromising Safety & Reliability: Our foremost priority is safety. Every relief valve is meticulously engineered and factory-set to your specified pressure, ensuring immediate and dependable activation when it matters most.
Factory-Direct Sourcing: By working directly with our factory, you eliminate distributor markup, gain direct access to our engineering team for technical support, and streamline your procurement process for better cost-efficiency and lead times.
Precision Set & Reset Performance: We utilize high-quality springs and precision-machined seats to deliver a precise “cracking” (opening) pressure and reliable reseating with minimal pressure drop (blowdown), ensuring your system returns to an efficient operational state quickly.
Industrial-Grade Durability: Built from high-strength materials like 316 Stainless Steel, Brass, and Carbon Steel, our pressure relief valves are designed to withstand corrosive media, extreme temperatures, and high-cycle applications for a long, maintenance-free service life.
Custom OEM & Application-Specific Solutions: As a versatile manufacturer, we specialize in tailoring relief valves to your exact needs. We offer custom set pressures, material configurations, seal compounds (e.g., Viton, EPDM), and end connections to meet the unique demands of your equipment or system.

Certificate

Our commitment to quality, safety, and precision is backed by globally recognized certifications. Every Relief Valves we manufacture undergoes rigorous quality management and complies with strict international standards for drinking water safety, pressure safety, and environmental protection.
What is a brass relief valve and what is its main function?

A brass relief valve is an automatic safety fitting designed to protect pipelines, water heaters, boilers and pressure vessels from overpressure. When internal fluid pressure exceeds the preset value, the valve opens automatically to discharge excess medium; once pressure drops back to the safe range, it closes tightly again. Our brass relief valves prevent pipe bursts, equipment damage and safety hazards caused by thermal expansion or abnormal pressure spikes in plumbing, HVAC and industrial fluid systems.

What working pressure ranges do your brass relief valves support?

We supply adjustable and preset brass relief valves covering commonly used pressure settings from 1 bar up to 10 bar. Standard preset models include 2.5 bar, 3 bar, 4 bar, 6 bar and 8 bar, which are widely used for domestic water heaters, heating circuits and small industrial systems. Custom set pressure can be produced upon special buyer requirements to match unique system specifications.

What media can your brass relief valves work with?

Our standard brass relief valves are suitable for clean cold and hot water within the temperature range of 0°C ~ 110°C. They are ideal for drinking water systems, heating systems and solar water heating equipment. For other media such as compressed air, light oil or glycol mixtures, please send us your working conditions so we can confirm suitable sealing material options.

What thread standards are available for your brass relief valves?

We support multiple mainstream thread specifications to meet global market demands, including BSPP, BSPT and NPT threads. Common sizes range from 1/2″, 3/4″ to 1″. We can produce custom thread sizes as OEM orders. Please specify your required thread type and dimension when sending an inquiry.

Are your brass relief valves suitable for potable drinking water systems?

Yes. The valve body adopts high-quality lead-free brass or standard brass options. Internal sealing components use food-grade EPDM rubber that complies with common water contact standards. The whole structure contains no harmful dissolved substances, safe for drinking water circulation systems such as domestic hot water units and household water supply pipelines.

Can you offer OEM & ODM service for brass relief valves?

Absolutely. We support customized logo engraving, customized valve body marking, customized preset pressure, packaging design and special size development. Our engineering team can adjust the structure according to your drawings or samples. We accept both small trial orders and bulk mass production orders for brand distributors.

What is the difference between a relief valve and a safety valve?

Relief valves are generally used for liquid medium systems like water; they open gradually to stabilize system pressure. Safety valves are mostly applied for gas/steam systems and fully pop open rapidly under overpressure. Our brass relief valves are optimized for liquid water circuits. If you need valves for steam or high-pressure gas working conditions, we can recommend matching alternative models.

How to correctly install a brass relief valve?

The relief valve should be installed on the high-pressure side of protected equipment, in an upright position. Do not install any shut-off valve between the relief valve and protected equipment. A discharge pipe needs to be connected to the outlet to guide drained fluid to a safe drainage point. Please follow the flow direction marking cast on the valve body during installation.

How long is the service life of your brass relief valves?

Under standard working conditions with clean water medium, regular models can maintain stable performance for 3–5 years. Service life is affected by water quality, operating temperature and pressure fluctuation frequency. We recommend periodic inspection to check for leakage and test opening pressure. We provide replacement spare sealing parts for after-sales maintenance.

What quality tests do you carry out before shipment?

Every brass relief valve passes strict factory inspection, including shell strength pressure testing, sealing performance test and opening pressure calibration. All products are inspected to ensure no external leakage and accurate trigger pressure. We can provide test reports and relevant certification documents if required by importers.
